Our Story
Since 2000, Star 21 International has been manufacturing and supplying gaskets for heat exchangers, pressure vessels, and piping connections in refineries, fertilizers, petrochemicals, chemicals, process plants, atomic energy, oil fields, the navy, shipbuilding industries, railways and other process industries. Gaskets are supplied for both project installations and maintenance replacements. Star 21 supplies gaskets that meet customers’ requirements in terms of size, pressure, temperature, shape and material. Our products include ring joint gaskets that are used in all industries in the country, and their variations depend on the shape, size, and raw materials that are used in manufacturing.
Spiral Wound Gaskets
Spiral Wound Gaskets manufactured by Star 21 International can withstand high pressure and temperature levels and are used in various industries all over Singapore. The outer ring, which is also known as the centering ring, is made of carbon steel, and the inner ring is pivotal for it to prevent windings from buckling inside the pipe. The sealing elements used in our spiral wound gaskets are highly effective, thus, they are widely popular among oil and gas refineries.
PTFE Cushion Gaskets
The PTFE Cushion Gasket manufactured by Star 21 International consists of a PTFE jacket and a non-asbestos rubber cushion and is the ideal component to fit in areas that are susceptible to corrosion. It is coated with Teflon, which provides excellent chemical resistance and stress relaxation. It is equipped with a high compression capacity and can be directly contacted with strong acids, caustic alkali, strong oxidation, and chlorine gas. Our PTFE cushion gaskets reach a diverse range of industries like the heavy electrical industry, thermal power plants, fertilizer industry, steel industry, petrochemical industry, refineries, heavy water plants, food processing industries, and other process industries.
Graphite Seal
The Graphite Seal, or graphite gasket, is one of the best-selling components manufactured by Star 21 International. We have mastered the art of producing this revolutionary product that is utilized for sealing purposes under extreme conditions like high temperatures and high pressure. This small circular component can tolerate high temperatures up to 1000°C and is 100% resistant to corrosion. Our graphite seals are remarkably used in cooling towers, chemical plants, heat exchangers, high-pressure pumping, petrochemical plants, electrochemical applications, and cryogenic environments, and they guarantee excellent sealing performance.
Flange Insulation Gaskets Kit
The Flange Insulation Kit manufactured by Star 21 International is the most widely used corrosion-control toolkit in Singapore. It is also used to control stray electric currents in piping at oil, gas, and water refineries, and chemical plants to increase the effectiveness of the cathodic protection systems. Our flange insulation kit includes a central flat or oval section gasket, an insulation sleeve per bolt, two insulating steel washers per bolt, and two plated steel washers per bolt. It contains four types of gaskets, which are: Type E, Type F, Type D, and Seal Type O. Our flange insulation kit ensures the prevention of all kinds of leakages, and it acts as an insulator between dissimilar metallic flanges that could be corroded without precautions. The flange insulation kits are generally available in 24 inches, however they can be customized upon demand.
